Shetkari Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Balsoor Sanstha was formed in 1969. This Sanstha has been created especially in a rural area to nurture knowledgeable and responsible human beings who will take a good care of the society in due course. Currently, the Sanstha consists of four schools, one junior & one senior college.

As we are aware of the fact that education is an ongoing process, we strive to create values like patriotism, mannerism, social responsibility & self- independence within our students to transform them into the better citizens of tomorrow. That is the reason, our students are provided with best of the training right from the school for their holistic development. This culture becomes more prominent in our senior college which was especially founded to cater the needs of higher education in this area. In spite of being a rural area which is dominated by the lower income group of people, we have successfully managed to provide the best educational schemes at minimal cost as we are aware of the fact that a better society can only be created especially in rural areas like this when such initiatives are taken.

At Bhausaheb Birajdar Senior College, Balsur, we have provided best graduation courses for our students with varied options as we know that each student is different in terms of personality and learning abilities. We also believe that powerful teaching- learning always comes with shared spirit of responsibility and temperament which creates a passionate learning experience to students and our college is known for its warmth, energy and excellence in these lines.

Our pedagogy has always been student centric, with an emphasis on all-round growth and progress of our students. We shoulder the responsibility of making our student’s journey in the college splendid with many enjoyable learning experiences by providing them an exquisite platform to enhance their creative and inter-personal skills with the help of various programs and initiatives run by the college from time to time.
